TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEYS
A topographical survey (also known as a land survey) is a key component of the design process to any planned development of an area. It is used by many people including architects, civil engineers, developers, builders and private individuals. Topographical surveys map out the boundaries, buildings, roads, footways, drainage, trees (tree surveys under taken to BS5837 along with tagging if required), surface types, levels along with the many other features which vary from site to site.
At A.R.M Surveys Limited we offer topographic survey services across the UK from our office located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. A.R.M. Surveys has invested in state-of-the-art Leica survey technology to ensure excellence in every survey produced. With our complete range of top-level survey equipment, advanced surveying techniques and a wealth of experience we are equipped to locate and accurately
record all the information that is required by the client for each individual site. Using reflectorless survey technology we can accurately and rapidly record ridge and eaves heights of buildings, overhead cables heights, tree heights, bridge structures and physically inaccessible detail such as neighbouring properties.
Our teams’ experience has resulted in a very good understanding of the needs the client under various site circumstances depending on the proposed use of the topographical survey. This enables our surveyors to produce surveys that are tailored to clients’ needs, with resulting annotated, accurate, clear and easily read drawings.
Our surveyors have the close attention to detail required to produce the highest standard of survey drawing and they all take great pride in the topographical surveys that we produce. We endeavour to work with our clients to make sure the end result is as usable to them as possible and their exact specifications are met. Our topographical surveys will be related to Ordnance Survey via GNSS equipment if required and delivered in a format to suit to the clients’ needs in DWG, DXF, PDF, CSV or XYZ formats both in 2D and 3D.
